As an operating partner to Blue Bear Capital, one of Demex’s lead investors, we were engaged to hire an extremely technical team from the ground up, culminating in a Head of Data Science, and we continue to recruit for them today.
Tasks
The req required PhD-level Atmospheric Science/Meteorology talent with real product experience (not purely academic) and insurtech relevance—a tiny, niche pool. We sourced scientists who could build, not just publish, and who fit startup pace and risk tolerance, delivering a high-caliber team aligned to Demex’s culture and mission.
